The summer Jackson Hole Economic Symposium delivers once again…in terms of market volatility.

Both equity and fixed income markets had strong rebounds in July as the Fed raised rates another 75 basis points.

June capped off a historically negative quarter in financial markets, as the Federal Reserve lifted the Federal Funds rate to 1.75%.

While May remained tumultuous in both equity and fixed income markets, the “falling knife” took a pause last month.

Yields rose once again across the curve, and equity markets continued to give back large portions of 2021 gains.
